Daisy Roots Movement is a dance collective founded in 2015 in memory of Ruth Daisy Morgan.
We are a diverse group driven and inspired by UK Jungle music, and we are open to the community and dancers of all abilities.
Our founder, Melodie Brannan, is a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer with over 22 years of experience in various aspects of the dance industry, including TV, music videos, theatre, live music events and festivals.
We are a community-led dance collective consisting of people from all walks of life and abilities, where all members have a say in the goings on. We are focused on bringing junglist dance and music to sober spaces, as well as giving dancers of all abilities a chance to learn and perform at festivals and events.
DRM has a core team of multi-talented and diverse dancers from various dance backgrounds as well as a network of artists we regularly collaborate with for classes and performances so that our members can try a range of styles and experiences. This creates a rich and versatile group of dance artists.
We are currently based in London and Norwich. If you’re looking for a chance to try something new and learn junglist dance, we look forward to seeing you at our classes!
